On February 27th long time Adult Basic Education work study student Susan Isaacs was awarded first place in the ENMU-R’s anniversary quilt contest. Susan’s design of the ENMU-R cougar was judged by several individuals, including Laurie Rufe, Director of the Roswell Museum and acclaimed local artist Nancy Fleming. She was awarded a $50 check by ENMU-R for her win. All of us at ABE would like to congratulate Susan on her hard work and her tremendous creativity.
