Thanks for a Job Well Done!

I want to thank NMYCA students, AnnJell, Evonne and Stevi, for their help moving books and materials today. They did a fantastic job and we wish them the best after they leave the ChalleNGe. Go Ladies!!!!!!!!!!

The advanced ESL class has been reading "Bridge to Terabithia" together in class. It enables them to put what they have learned into practice. Hilda Pacheco-Peeples, Assistant Director of ABE, participated in their class, explaining a portion of her readings.

Lucy Morgan, the evening instructor at the ABE Department, had her students put an essay together one sentence at a time. It was a strategy she picked up in Albuquerque at a training she attended last month. The students were very involved, proving it is a strategy that works!!! Lucy is constantly looking for innovative ways to keep her students interested in learning.
