The Commission on Adult Basic Education (COABE) Celebrates Adult Education and Family Literacy Week

September 13, 2010

COABE recognizes the challenges of adult literacy and is very proud of the students and our members that serve them. We celebrate their efforts during Adult Education and Family Literacy Week on September 13 - 19, 2010 and encourage our member organizations and individual members to inform us of local events and efforts that are scheduled to for this special week of celebration.

Literacy Day September 8!

A CELEBRATION OF LITERACY

This coming Friday September 8th NMCL, is having a "Celebration of Literacy" in Albuquerque on September 8, Literacy day. It should be a fun event, and you're invited!

This is a good time to think about doing a Literacy Day event in your community.
